![]() June Horn June Horn – Audiology Assistant June wants you to know: I like to make sure your hearing aids are in good working order. If you ever have any trouble or questions with your hearing aids, just give me a ring or come in to see me during walk-in hours. Most of the problems I see with hearing aids are “simple fixes” such as cleaning or replacing a small part. That is why it is always best to have us take a quick look if you are experiencing trouble with your hearing aids. So you can stop missing out and get back to hearing your life! I talk, on a daily basis, to patients that say they are embarrassed because they don’t know how to clean or replace parts on their hearing aids. If this is true in your case, please stop in one day and we can talk about your hearing aids. It takes time to adjust to wearing hearing aids and getting accustomed to handling and caring for them. If it’s time for your six-month check up, I encourage you to stop in to the office during my walk-in hours. Regular maintenance on your hearing aids, called a clean and check, is important for the life of your hearing aids and will also help you to hear better. This service is free of charge and takes only about 15 minutes. Clean and checks are avilable during walk-in hours or when you have a scheduled appointment with your audiologist. Clean and checks provide opportunities for us to answer any questions you may have, to do adjustments, to give you information on new technology, and provide recommendations for the care of your hearing aids. I look forward to meeting you. |
